Human Rights Practice
The company established measures to protect our employees and designed training on human rights, ethics, and corporate social responsibility to raise employees’ awareness of human rights. In 2023, the training rate of human rights in Giga reached 100%.
The company offers grievance channels including the network suggestion note, the suggestion box, and the grievances email address (pleases refer to the Procedure of Grievance and Reporting Management). Open employee feedback channels without fear of retaliation.
Hold the Labor-Management meeting quarterly and announce the meeting minutes to all employees. In 2023, a total of four labor-management meetings had been held in March, June, September, and December.
There are no human rights violations or discrimination in 2023 and no violations of liberty rights.
Employees protection
Giga established relative work rules in all employment processes to protect human rights topics, for instance, age, working hours, attendance, gender equality…etc. We declare the rights and welfare of employees to be protected and make sure they could be taken care of.Human right risk assessment
The HR Div. assesses the potential risk of labor and human rights every year, formulate and implement control measures for high-risk items to protect every employee.
The 2024 risk assessment was executed in November and reported the result to ESG Sustainability Operation Committee. All control measures are grasped properly, there is no violation exists.
Prevention of Sexual Harassment
In order to protect gender equality at work, Giga has established "Procedure of Sexual Harassment Prevention Management" to protect employees from the threat of harassment and provide a friendly workplace environment.
New employees are required to pass harassment prevention training within three months. In 2023, all employees had completed the harassment prevention retaining.
Giga Corporation Workplace Violence Prevention Statement
Giga guarantees all employees against suffering mental and physical illegal infringement during job duties. It is zero-tolerance to have workplace bullying or violence behaviors in-between supervisors and employees; and customers, suppliers or other people to Giga employees.
